DOWNS CHALLENGE

Unfortunately the annual Downs Challenge for 2025 has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Cyclone Alfred forced Premier League to reschedule their double header from the 8th March to the 15th March which resulted in the game scheduled for the 15th being moved to the 16th March.

PLQ “graciously” offered us the afternoon of the 16th to play 1 game or 2 shortened games. This was not acceptable. The Downs Challenge was to be played at Drayton, with no other venue available on short notice and the loss of players to Premier League we were left with no other option but to cancel.

We thank all those that made themselves available for selection and apologize for any inconvenience.
